Why My Balms Are Never Whipped
Most manufacturers whip their tallow balms to make them feel softer and more "mainstream," but this destroys what makes tallow so beneficial:
You're paying for air. Whipping replaces up to 40% of nutrient-rich tallow with, well, thin air.
It destroys the tallow. Whipping oxidises tallow, causing rancidity that ruins the healing properties and the shelf life.
